Subject: Make secondary navigation configurable

I added an issue on github:
https://github.com/sferik/rails_admin/issues/1038

If I could just get some guidance I would fix it myself. I just don't know
how the configuration system works. I figure it can't be that hard, but
that I need to follow conventions.

I've been searching Google, but I must not be using the right keywords,
because all I find is how to configure rails and not how to make stuff
configurable in rails.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.
