Hi,

Anyone interested in talking at the next rorosyd meet up, July 14?

Head on over to the wiki and put your name down :) (I think Myles and
Gareth have volunteered)

There are two types we usually do:

Lightning talks, around 5 minutes long (great for showcasing something
you've worked on, a cool plugin, gem, anything!)
Longer talks, around 15 minutes (good for an in-depth look at something)

Is the source code for isitroroyet or isitrainingtoday publicly available?

Unfortunately I was thwarted by the Bivou.ac password, but rest
assured that http://isthesourcecodeforisitroroyetorisitrainingtodaypubliclyavailable.bivou.ac
would have been awesome. The slightly less boring answer:

http://github.com/keithpitty/isitrorosydyet/tree/master

Ah, so they assume you're in Sydney (unless you state otherwise for isitrainingtoday).

LOL at @need_more_talks = true

Is ismichaeljacksonazombieyet a ruby app?

Though you should be doing some nice meta SEO stuff to get it listed
by the engines...

I wouldn't mind giving a quick 5 min lightning talk to demo my Live CSS Color Picker, which I also demoed at BarCampSydney5 just the other work.

It's not strictly rails related at all, but helps with web dev in general. Project page is at http://gabehollombe.github.com/css-live-color-picker/

So, any interest in a quick demo from the crowd here?

I remember seeing this at barcamp. I dig it.

It sounds like we have one taker for a lightning talk thanks to Gabe.  Any other takers for either lightning talks or longer presentations?

I think Gareth and Myles have also volunteered - perhaps they could
head on over to the wiki and put their names down ;)

(or I can on their behalf)
