After a successful weekend of railscamp with mountain goat
beer in full force I've been able to secure the venue for our
end of year drinks, The brewery!

as "attending" so that I can give a more concrete number to

our usual Thursday night, to Wed... bah... I have regular Wed night
bookings (hence don't ever make MXUG either). Just saying...
perhaps we should stick with the usual weeknight when possible?

The brewery is only open on Wednesday and Friday so it has to be done
Wednesday and I think with the Christmas period coming up someone will
always miss out.

Top idea Ben! It's an awesome place, they do good food too.
Also since it's the brewery, the chance of the beer running out is low. :)

I should note that this is "short notice" because I realised
that any later will start to clash with christmas parties and
all kinds of other commitments. Sorry if you can't make it!

Excellent plan.
Hmm, got a boozy end of year lunch for one of the project teams I'm on. Could make for a messy night, and an unproductive Thursday. But totally worth it.

that any later will start to clash with christmas parties and

Cool Daniel. I didn't really think about the yahoo ID thing for the
"I'm coming" status. I wanted to get a sense of how many numbers we'll
drop for: A) December, B) Richmond. It looks like we'll easily hit 30+
FYI, our last meet up was our biggest yet at 45 heads
(Slightly too many for a tour, really).

I was hoping to be able to swing by… but at the moment, it's looking
iffy as to whether I can (need to get a bunch of stuff done for my
course project for Thursday)…
Hopefully I'm in a place to be able to make it down for a quick drink
