Hello!

It's the Melbourne Ruby User Group on Thursday (25th of September @
6:30PM), and it's being held at:

Thoughtworks: Level 11, 155 Queen Street, Melbourne
(SMS Mark on 0414 740 489 if you arrive late)

The confirmed line up is:

* Rob Caporetto [1] on ActiveResource Awesome [2].
* Clifford Heath [3] on Form Builders Awesome [2] (a short talk).

There is another unconfirmed short talk, though if we ain't gots
enough Marcus Crafter [4] has suggested a mini hack-o-thon of some
description. I'm sure he'll come up with something if required!

Pizza lovingly provisioned by thoughtful Thoughtworks, and drinkies
afterwards. I'm suggesting a different venue this month; Chaise Lounge
are not honoring their mates rates as promised and they've introduced
a door charge Thursday nights (the tardy monsters). I'm recommending
the Horse Bazaar [5] as they're geek friendly (they sometimes have
DJ's playing GameBoy music, on GameBoys!!!), it's close by [6] and has
a similar atmosphere.

Noobies welcome as always, and my apologies for the late announcement!

See you there!

Ryan.

in me Skype history, doh!

If you're looking for some filler, I can probably talk for anywhere
between 5 and 30 minutes on Roodi without notice. Volunteers for a
live fire demo might be interesting :)

Hi All,

Glad that everyone enjoyed my ActiveResource talk last night, and
thanks to Clifford as well for a very interesting dissection of
ActionView as well.

I've gone and posted up the slides to Slideshare - there's a link on
my blog at: http://tinyurl.com/3vgyf7
