Hi everyone!

From what I hear the last Melbourne meetup was rockin'! (I was sick,
so I couldn't make it, boo). So I'm calling for speakers early this
month while the awesome is still reasonably fresh.

If you're keen to give a presentation, shoot me a mail directly, or
you can put the feelers out in this thread on topic ideas/suggestions,
and refresh madly for +1's.

Cheers!
RYan.

If anyone wants to hear a bit about CSS Transforms/Transitions/
Animations then I'm happy to show off some neat stuff.

Hi everyone!

Just a reminder that without any talks there is no Melbourne Ruby User
Group, and we certainly can't have that Sydney crowd out-doing us. So
if you've been thinking about doing a talk, or event if you haven't,
it's about time you step up and contribute.

If we don't get some more talks scheduled then Pete Yandell will spend
the 3 hours talking about toe nail clippings, I promise that much!

Ryan.

Its about time I did one. I am happy to do one on using
make_resourceful, the restful controller plugin by Hampton Catlin.

Would anyone interested in an iron ruby silverlight 2 presentation/demo? It could be talking to a rails backend (jruby? mri?) if you insisted.  I promise not to use the acronym ARAX.

Regardless, I'll be coming along ordering pizzas, opening doors, etc. like a fiend next week.

Mark.

Oh, oh! That would be excellent, please do! I'll push the proper
announcement tomorrow for next week's meet.

Ryan.

I could do one on a new authentication framework for merb that should be complete by that stage if anyone is interested.  Prolly about time I actually make it down for one on time ;)
