I'm Wes Gamble, and I live and work in Houston, TX.
I'm the sole proprietor of Bison Consulting, and have been in business
off and on for about 4 years (most recently for the last 14 months).
Been doing Rails work since March '06 (doing a bit of Java stuff but not
much and don't plan to increase it).
Heard about this (I think) on the Yahoo! group that got started at
RailsConf by the independent contractor BoF.
I am doing all the wrong things from a business standpoint (I'm a sole
proprietor and don't have a lawyer or accountant yet), and I hope to
rectify those within the year.
On the other hand, I am profitable and am enjoying the work that I'm doing.
