Web 2.0 Designers?

to Ruby on Rails meets the business world
Where's a good place online to find designers that *know* today's
standards in designing websites in this Web 2.0 world?

I don't mean just designing everything and giving it a shiny glare.
I'd like to find real professional, original, creative artists that
know how to make great websites. Is there a good site out there that
works like a directory or something?

Not that I know of. I'd suggest seeing if there is a BarCamp in your
area (http://barcamp.org/), and culling from the design houses or
freelancers that attended.
