Hello,

(This is cross-posted from the main developers' list, so apologies if
you have received two copies).

On August 11th, the EPG Working Team circulated their proposed changes
to the RadioEPG and RadioDNS specifications. (http://radiodns.org/
documentation/#proposed)

These are major changes to the specification, designed to add
important new functionality.

They asked for comments and feedback on those proposals. Some feedback
has been received, but it is important that the proposals get proper
peer review, and that they are tested against requirements/use cases
that may not have been thought of by the EPG Working Team. You can
either post comments in the EPG Developers' list at
http://groups.google.com/group/radioepg-developers, or by email to
ben....@radiodns.org

The RadioDNS Steering Board meets this Thursday (29-SEP), and we will
be discussing this activity. If you intend to comment on the proposal,
it would be helpful if you could say so by Wednesday (28-SEP), and say
when you think you could deliver full comments to the Working Team by.
It's worth remembering that once we have published a specification, we
are obliged to keep future amendments backwards compatible with prior
versions.

RadioDNS relies on the experience and varied backgrounds of our
members to validate proposed changes to our specifications, and your
comments are a valuable contribution.
