It's Tuesday ringroad run day. It's also the beer festival. I know -
you can do both!

Meet 7pm Castle Hill Car park (the one next to the Castle pub and
Castle mound). We'll decide at the start if we're Castling or beer
festivaling after.

Weather: 1900 Sunny 19 °C NNE Wind: 12 mph Gusts: 24 mph
Visibility: Very Good

Bring a bottle of water. We're not used to this heat.

There will be a car for stuf. If you're driving, watch the bad
closedness of Shire Hall Car Park though >-(

A RANGE OF RRROUTES (not the full range yet though, Alec)

8.4 mile route:
http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=4293385

8.1 mile route:
http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=4478865
It's the same as the 8.4 one but you turn right off Long Road just
after one of the hills and follow the off-road path past the stream
and the allotments until you rejoin at the Trumpington Rd traffic
lights where you turn onto the footpath.

5.3 mile route
One week I did a shortcut - started the loop as normal but turned off
to run the length of Mill Road and straight through town back to the
Castle.

Short beer festival route
From the Castle to Jesus Green

Long beer festival route
From the Castle to Jesus Green via a full RRR

There will be a car for stuf. If you're driving, watch the bad
closedness of Shire Hall Car Park though >-(

POEM OF THE WEEK

He Escaped His Tiny Hand From Her Greasy One And Hopped...

He escaped his tiny hand from her greasy one and hopped
She ran behind him,
He careless, full of gushing blood under him
She worried avoiding dirty ditches, shouting concerned warnings
He turning a deaf ear to them with an innocent naughty smile
Running away to somewhere unknown
She desperate to catch hold of him,
might even slap him tightly after nabbing by his sweaty collar
He, just, so damn happy to gulp a big sip of freedom!
Both of their hearts pumping, thumping hard,
Noses and ears feeling hot flush of airs
Running for his life
His eyes full of excited wishes to run over all the land on this earth
Her arms anxious to grasp her apple of eye
And prohibit all the possible injuries to him
He incapable to understand the bigger meaning of life
She known to all the secrets of world
He full of ecstasy, excitement, life, thriller running to live
She full of love, care, worry, anxiety running for his life
As if they would run this way for ages,
never tired and exhausted but full of enchantment.
I couldn’t nor want to explore the meaning hidden here
But just enjoy the scene like an onlooker.

See you later!
