out for the vet. We took Brickie on Friday and he is doing good. He
is on antibiotics now.

I haven't personal experience but have learned a lot from peope who

Firstly, getting the antibiotic that is going to work best on the
pathogen causing the abscess is vital. Did your vet culture for
sensitivitiy? Then of course, being able to get the antibiotic you

The day before this past Thanksgiving, we took our rabbit to the vet
because he had a bump under his chin. It turned out to be an
abscess. After several weeks of treating it with antibiotics after
the vet drained it, he had to surgically go in and remove it. The vet
also had to remove one of his lower teeth.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful story.
It just shows that each rabbit has its own unique personality.
Our rabbit used to love carrots and then one day he would no longer
eat them!
They can be funny little creatures.
I love that you gave your rabbit a middle name when you needed to
correct him.

My boyfriend thought the same thing about rabbits when we adopted our
first bun. Because we wanted a cat and he was allergic to them, I
adopted a rabbit instead. We fell in love with a little black furball
running back and forth in his pen, stepping all over the other bunnies
available...his personality was irresistible! And how...

As a child, our family had numerous pets including dogs, cats, desert
turtles, a hamster and a bird. My brother even had a tarantula that
