Cannot extract tgz files

I like this unzipper very much -- one thin i miss that i cannot extract
tgz files like:

I was able to unzip it into a tar-file with gzip from cygwin but also
not with gzip 1.2.4 from gzip.org

I am not sure what goes wrong, but you can extract the file "unknown",
then rename it to "unknown.tar", and then extract the file again.
