I am having problems installing cl+ssl package, with errors included in the attached text file.

I am trying to install restas and would like to have this package installed without errors even though I can bypass it and continue.  Would anyone be able to comment on how to fix the issue?  I have cffi installed but none of the breaks show to my noob eyes an obvious missing package or perhaps system library.

It looks to me as you are using a too old version of CFFI. Was you CFFI installed through QL?

I agree. try (asdf:system-source-directory :cffi) and ensure that it is
not installed via

1. apt, yum, or any other package systems which comes with your unix
distribution.
2. asdf-install.

Aha!

That was exactly it.  I installed it via apt, and clearly it was too old.

Quicklisp is amazing.

Thanks all for the help!
