clsql-fluid

Hi,

in the latest quicklisp, it seems that clsql-fluid-20110730 no longer match the clsql-2012-05-20 API.

clsql-fluid use functions like release-to-conn-pool, but it no longer exists in clsql.

It has been replaced by : database-release-to-conn-pool.

Same way with acquire-from-conn-pool and maybe with other functions.

is there any new versions of clsql-fluid since 2011-07-30 ?

    sorry, I have no idea about this topic,because the quicklisp just is my the third language,so i have no time to care about the lastest news.maybe your could ask the other people.if your know why, please mail me.

Hi,

i solved the problem.

My aim is to learn weblocks.

So i tried weblocks-clsql-demo which depends on clsql-fluid.

But clsql-fluid do not match clsql updates.

i found a patch : http://lists.common-lisp.net/pipermail/clsql-fluid-devel/attachments/20120212/d37b8189/attachment.obj

Now all is working perfectly

     And thx for you reply.About this question, i think when i encounter it next time,i wlll solve it by your method.
and by the way,my favorable and be good at language is C/C++,if you have problems in this aspect ,maybe i can help u....

Here is repository with fixed bug https://github.com/html/clsql-fluid. I'm putting it into .quicklisp/local-projects and all works fine

I emailed the original author of clsql-fluid, Stephen Compall, and he is
happy to have someone else maintain the project. Are you interested in
becoming the official clsql-fluid maintainer, with the official repo at
https://github.com/html/clsql-fluid?
