However, version 4.0, currently under development, will support both Mac and Linux as well as Windows. We expect this to be released mid 2010.

Hi <br> The user guide is written with all users in mind, and obviously has to cater for those who have bought the Professional and Developer Editions. Producing three different user guides for each edition was not realistic. Sorry if it causes difficulty, it is just one of the trade-offs we have to make in offering and supporting free software.

Is there a User Guide for the free edition? There are several features in the User Guide for Question Tools 3.0 that are not available in the free version that I have (I am using 3.0.18) and it is very confusing when I am trying to do something and refer to the guide and the feature is not available in the software.

Also, if this was the cause then we would see it on all platforms, and Windows XP would not be excluded. <br> Although it does not use RichEdit, our server software runs for weeks without fail (it would be months if it were not for the Windows monthly updates requiring night-time reboots). About 6 months ago, I asked about RichEdit line insertion errors that were appearing when some of our users were running a quiz. It happens whe the students try to review the results of the test. It doesn't see to matter if it is XP of Vista. We have shipped around 5,000 quizzes and this problem has happened about 30 or 40 times with different unconnected users. Does QT bleed memory under a certain set if circumstances?

Hi <br> The message you are getting could be because of two things. You have to register Editor, and then you have to use the Options menu in Editor to enter the serial number you have been sent - this will turn off any warning messages and remove the five-screen limit. <br> The other possibility is that you have changed Editor using Options -&gt; Preferences to behave like the Professional and Developer Edition. If this is the case the the restrictions will come back into force if you have only entered a free serial number. The aim is to allow anyone to try out the commercial versions for as long as they wish.
