Siege of Limerick | 20-21 Feb

Hey guys, I'm well excited about this outdoor tournament coming up called the Siege of Limerick - its a weekend tournament held at University of Limerick , 20-21 February.

We can stay either in a hotel at a reduced rate or stay in one of the guys flats down there. Basically we will be partying with the other teams on Fri and Sat night, and playing Ultimate during the day on Sat and Sun, will cost around £20 each to play. I think there is more of a fun factor to this tournament - so not like Intervarsities

 I was talking to Alan about it hes well up for it, Conor is interested too. Put your name down if you're interested at this stage(everyone welcome), don't worry if you can't make it in the end. Also feel free to ask any questions. I'm nice.

I'm not sure if I can make it, I am taking several days off to go to a 3-day tournament in Spain the following weekend, so most likely, I should be using this weekend to get ahead on stuff.  I'll let you know when we get closer though.

Alan, you told John Houston he could play for us, yes? Can Luke and Ob play too? that would give us an adequate number of players?

I told a number of BUG players that there was a possibility of
playing.
From the start I wanted to give Queen's players priority over BUG
players, and I still do.

Guys, to keep you up to date, this is the latest:

1) We're still going to Limerick
2) We're going to finish top half
3) I'm waiting to hear back about floor space so we don't have to pay
for accommodation - until then I can't confirm costs. Fees for the
tournament are £23 per person, plus what we do for accommodation.
4) We travel down on Friday day/night depending on who's driving/
who's car your in (some people are working during the day)
5) Party on Friday night
6) Play Saturday
7) Party Saturday night
8) Play Sunday
9) Leave Sunday afternoon/early evening
10) We celebrate a top half finish.
