I've been using QSB as a possible replacement for QuickSilver for a
few days ago.

There's one piece of the UI that my brain keeps tripping over. When I
type in a search, a list of possible results pops up. Like Pavlov's
dogs, my brain is trained to read that list and go for the first item
assuming that's the most relevant result. However, in QSB, the most
relevant result is up next to the search field itself.

While this is brilliant and beautiful, I'm wondering if by simply
adding the most relevant result to the results list as well, it might
provide the current slick UI with conventional drop-down suggestion
list behavior.

To be clear, I'm suggesting that the most relevant item appear *both*
next to the search field *and* as the first suggested result.

Thanks,
Steve

That is what I see, if I understand you correctly. The default result shows up first in the list below the QSB bar, and is also auto-filled and icon displayed in the bar.
