The MCPS Parent Academy is hosting a free workshop on Thursday, March 6, entitled "Branded DUI—The Dangers of Teenage Drinking and Driving."
The workshop will be held at Montgomery Blair High School’s Student Activity Center at 7 p.m., and will be presented by Judge Yvette Diamond from the Maryland Office of Administrative Hearings, in collaboration with the Montgomery County Bar Association. It will focus on the consequences of alcohol-related driving offenses for young drivers. Judge Diamond won an Emmy Award for the documentary "Branded DUI," in which young drivers share their stories and the consequences of drinking and driving.
Students are welcome to attend with their parents. Childcare will be provided for younger children. Montgomery Blair is located at 51 University Blvd. in Silver Spring.
