I'd like to have the possibility to define an independent "Pre Fade
Listening/PFL"-port (or whatever you'd like to call it) in the
workspace-preferences, that routes the signal of the audio in the
Inspector's "Settings"-tab to that PFL-port with 0 dB-FS (or an
adjustable value), no matter what the actual routing or levels of that
cue was. The Fade-Envelopes in the cue should be "regarded",
nevertheless.
So it would be possible to easily edit a forthcomming cue, without
distracting any running cues and without changing anything in the
levels or routing of the edited cue.
Reason:
I really don't want to hear the team on stage, what I'm actually
editing during rehearsals.
Any comments on this from the other users?

That's, what I'd call a work-around and I'm doing it already.
My intention was to not need that work-around anymore.
When I'm on the Settings-tab. that is in the desired PFL-mode, I don't
need to hear all channels, 'cause I can't change any multi-out-based
settings there, anyway.
And:
the PFL-mode wouldn't be an ether-or, like the mentioned work-around..
Other (running) cues, other than the one, which is selected in the
Settings-tab, should use their normal, programmed destinations.
On the other hand:
on one of our shows, I need the readout of the waveform of one running
cue during the show to know "where I am within that cue" to decide,
what to do next.
So a "programmable", non-temporarily button ("Disable PFL-mode") on
the Settings-tab would be nessesary, too.
But if no one else chimes in, consider my suggestion as "nice (or
whatever), but impractical for anyone else".

I think I don't quite understand -- why would changing the patch assignment on one cue to hear it out headphones affect other cues?
Best,

Sorry, you're right!
I thought you were reffering to the patching in the preferences.
But Sam's script did a nice trick on the subject, so all's fine!
