I have mentioned this to Mark - and he doesn't like it, obviously because it has a certain overtone.

Shen programmers should be called Shenkers. And this is very apt, from a linguistic point of view.
"schenken" means "to give a present" both in German and in Dutch (but in this language it is a more
old-fashioned term, when used in this context, and of, course, it is pronounced differently).
We, the Shen programmers (or rather the Shen porters) give a present to the programming community.
We are Shenkers  who give presents.
As an aside, "schenken" also means "(ein)schenken", i.e. "to fill a glass". I have been doing this for several hours now,
and I am very happy!

I know that we have have some German contributors - what do you think?

I like Shenturion (I tend to spell this with an 'Shenturian', but not
important). I'd vote for this.

I did like the shapeshifter one though; the ability to morph into any
programming language you like. Scary. I'd keep this too.
