A new version of q4e has been made publicly available on the update site:

New in this version:
  - Attach sources to classpath.
  - Add generated folders to build path.
  - Better error reporting and other improvements thanks to a new embedder release.

We also fixed some annoyances:
  - Resolution of dependencies should be working in all cases (just remember to download those jars that are not on the repository).
  - Avoid adding the same folder to the build path twice.

And a new update site has been made available for those wanting to take a preview at what's coming next. The Installation page on the wiki has the information for accessing it.

There are still 6 reported defects that need to be fixed. If they are affecting you, just star them to let us know.

We're waiting for your feedback! Use this list for any questions... and if you've found an issue or have ideas for enhancements, let us know by filing a new Issue.

I just tried to update to latest q4e release but update manager failed
due to missing dependency:
Q for Eclipse (0.3.0.200711240237) requires feature
"org.apache.maven.feature (2.1.0.594741)".

I guess site.xml is broken because it doesn't list this feature as
available.

Best regards,
Grzegorz

It all looks good. The dependency is listed on the update site and the jars are there too.

I can update using Eclipse 3.3.1.1 (both clean and with 0.2.4 installed) but I noticed some network errors. Could you try again and report back if the problem persists?

I tried to update again and I can confirm that problems still
persists. First I tried option "Search for updates of the currently
installed features" and some updates were found and successfully
installed but none of them concerned q4e.

Then I tried "Search for new features to install" and I chose q4e's
update site for a check. Eclipse found new release but I cannot
install it due to the error I reported earlier.

Testing has been done using openSUSE 10.3 with Java 1.6 and Eclipse
3.3.1.1.

I don't know what might be happening... I would like to hear if other users are also having problems or have successfully upgraded.

Grzegorz, could you attach your eclipse configuration details (available in the "About Eclipse Platform" window)?

I just tried to remove q4e 0.2.4 (and it's dependencies) completely
and after doing that I could install 0.3.0 without any problems. I
have no idea what has been happening but I think it's not worth the
effort to investigate further.

Thanks for assistance.
