Seems to me that it'd be really easy to plug that into Q4E right?
should we create a new plugin for Spring integration or their plugin
contribute to our extension points?

It would be very simple... I will help anybody trying to achieve it.

Probably the best option would be to have the springide guys involved,  
specially for the testing.
