Packaging midlets for a given platform

Hi

I have now a complete project configured properly (thanks Vlad to
answer my questions yesterday!) and it comes now to my mind many
questions on how to use pyx4me to produce packages for a given
platform.

We would like to be able:

a) to create a jad file with parameters based on user inputs (e.g.
midlet version, IP address of servers, etc.)

b) to produce a midlet for a Nokia S40 phone and another one for a
Nokia S60. The midlet for S40 may have for instance smaller images and
even different portion of codes.

What are the best practices in order to do that ?

I found that using maven build profiles is an elegant way to do that.
