Thans for your interest. I send you the message I had prepared for the discussion group.
First of all, congratulations to Filip Wasilewski and the rest of contributors building up such an excelelnt wavelet site as PyWavelets
I am a beginner with this but with the help of the Pywavelets demos and a friend I managed to build the attached job *py which uses the input data data1.txt (also attached) to produce the results ca*txt and cd*txt which have been gathered in a spreadsheet (see part of it in the attached image)
Py job wil run if data1.txt is in the same directory
As my input are spikes every 100 points and I am using a symmetrical wavelet (bior2.2) I get symmetrical responses for ca's but should not the cd's responses be symmetrical as well?
Should the addition of ca5 + all cd's = 1 at raw 101? It is not.
I will appreciate help from experts
Best regards
