noob: Pythonxy vs Spyder and startup questions/confusion

So I've installed pythonxy and there's a shortcut to pythonxy that
brings up a "Python(x,y) Home" window that I really don't understand
what it's for.(?) It looks like some sort of option gui. I'm not
sure where the doc on this window is.

Hi, I saw here the post about gl2ps, there was written that export to eps from mayavi was enabled. Unfortunately I can't save my scene to.eps file. How can I fix it?

Winpdb doesn't launch (new full install)

Running on win xp sp3 32 bit with the latest full install. Pressing F7 does nothing (is there another way?). I don't see any "winbdp" item in the python(x,y) group (on the start menu) and apparently there is no file name with "winpdb" in it on my drives.

Hello, I'm new in mayavi. Is there any way to export my scene from mayavi to x3d format? Because when I'm exporting it to the .obj file and then put to the blender it looses all colors.

Thanks for Python(x,y). I've converted at least 5 people I work with from Matlab to python due to this distro. It's a strong weapon for python. Keep up the great work! Python(x,y) is perfect IMO.

Launching IPython Qt Console causes python.exe to stop working.
