Hello,

As of december, OpenCV 2.2 has been released.
Do you plan to include it in the next version of python (xy) ?

Kind regards,

Hi,
it will probably take a while, as OpenCV 2.2 requires Python 2.7. And
I have heard that they are first working on getting 2.6.6 out, and

OpenCV 2.2 comes with its own Python bindings (one of the release
highlights). It is uncertain PyOpenCV will be updated - see this
discussion - http://code.google.com/p/pyopencv/issues/detail?id=37.

I never used either - are the OpenCV bindings a sufficient substitute
for PyOpenCV?
