I am not familiar with the Python package installers. I would like to know how to upgrade and install plugins without messing my Python(x,y) install.

What is the correct procedure when I want to upgrade an existing plugin to a newer version?

What is the correct procedure when I want to install a new plugin that is not part of my current Python(x,y) install?

Thanks for the great piece of software,
Marko.

Just download and run the installer, it's the same as most other windows programs.

Marko Hi,

You can install non P(x,y) packages via easy_install, pip or a binary installer (if available). The binary installer is best with easy_install second.
