Hello list,

I am pleased to announce a new version of mahotas.

What's New
-----------

There has been a namespace reorganisation. For simple uses, it shouldn't
matter, but you might find that some functions have moved submodules. Sorry.

An important bug in dilate() was fixed.

New morphological functions: open(), close(), regmax() & regmin().

Mahotas
-------

Mahotas is a computer vision library. Algorithms operate on numpy arrays, but
are implemented in C++ for speed (efficiency is a major concern of mahotas).

It includes algorithms such as watershed, morphological operations, feature
computation, and other tidbits.

Just wanted to say thank you for maintaining this software.  I am new to both Python and image processing, but am diligently working through Dougherty's and Lotufo's book and other resources.  mahotas and pymorph have been quite helpful in my learning.
