Nope, at least not for the few minutes I've been using it. (I also use vi
mode)

(I see some stuff

C-r in bpython doesn't do a reverse search. See "Rewind" on

Cheers for that... its great!
I think it just "renewed" my intrest in Python for "live
scripting".. ;-)

Now how to embed those features into a Python Interpreter inside C++
program...

Now, my question is - does it support vi mode? :P Or rather, does
having vi mode set in your .inputrc mess things up (I see some stuff
in the screenshots like C-r for doing reverse searches, so it makes me
think of emacs modes, hence the question)

repoze.bfg, and can very much recommend it. It uses some zope3
technologies behind the scenes. Fantastic to work with because it allows

I just discovered [link] 5 minutes ago.

Syntax highlighting, autocompleting and call-hinting interactive python
shell (and more.)
For those with ubuntu 9.10, you can: sudo apt-get install bpython

Oh, sweet! I have a soft spot for Blender, and to see a complete
revamp using more python throughout makes it all that much better :)

The last bit of web development I've done was in Django, though I was
messing about with CherryPy more recently.

Useless to this discussion; my next web project will probably be done
in Clojure* and not Python, using the Compojure framework and probably
using MongoDB as the database backend.

If you voted yesterday and you voted for 'dublin' (with lower
case d), could you please check back and vote for 'Dublin' -
there were duplicate entries for Dublin, which got cleaned up,
but they just ditched all votes for 'dublin', meaning that quite
