Much cooler than DIT :-P

The NDA won't have any effect on "our" talks though, right?

I don't know if it's necessary to sign the NDA at all to participate
in the talk. Look at this:

NDA declined and he's in.

Lol, nice. :-) I'll assume that either way is fine. It would be
ridiculas if we couldn't talk about the talks (i.e. unit testing).

I think that clicking the "trivial change" checkbox should result in the lock being released sooner so that others can edit freely.

I also noticed that Moin-Moin conveniently shows you any conflicts that occurred if you attempt to save it, so that you can manually merge the changes... nice feature.

(I've never used Moin-Moin before - only Twiki and JSPWiki...)

Johan.

well, we are not using meetup.com and MickT tried to kick off using upcoming.org. But did not take off. So the wiki will have to do.

Hi all,

I'm starting using Python and I thought it would be a good idea to
join this user's group.

I'm afraid to be a bit "newbie" although I'm going to give it a try.
I put myself in the "waiting list" for tomorrow's event but if there
is no free places and some people is still going to the Schoolhouse
pub I'll go too.

See you
Juan

Hi Juan,

Don't worry about how new you are to Python, this group
was started to give us all a chance to learn from each other.
I will definitely be in the Schoolhouse after the talks
tomorrow,

Ill look forward to meeting you there.

I cannot make it now because I have a family engagement.

There is a cancellation.

Juan - please add yourself to the list.

Hi All,

Yesterday's talks was a resounding success. It was the biggest turnout ever, including the pub afterwards.

Thanks again to the speakers, to Brian for organising the venue, and finally to all of you who turned up.
It was great to meet everyone old and new.

I'm proposing for talks to be held in October instead of September. I will setup the wiki page and will ping the list. There are a few talks yet to give ( http://wiki.python.ie/moin.cgi/PythonTalkIdeas), but if you have a talk idea or something you want to hear about, jot it down on that wiki page.

Cheers,

/// Vicky
