Hi Darren,

Have you seen Panda3D? http://www.panda3d.org/

A non-python game engine I would recommend that is easy to work with would be Unity3D. It is scriptable with JavaScript, C# and Boo (a Python-inspired language).

Cheers,
Bart

Panda3D is a nice one, I found it quite hard to set up though, hopefully you'll find it easier. If it absolutely *must* be 3D, go with that.
If "pseudo-3D" would do (2d image sprites that get bigger / small with height to give 3D illusion) I'd strongly reccomend that! Much easier to code, PyGame is a very nice, basic, easy, and well documented library.

Good luck! -Harry

Hi Darren,

Don't be too worried about the month deadline, it's proposal for an idea, the exhibition is not till October. ;-)

If your idea passes to the next stage, then you can worry about getting a working prototype.

Good luck, and have fun trying all the new 3D tools.

Drop me an email if you have an questions regarding GAME.

Cheers,
