Is anyone planning to go to EuroPython in Birmingham at the end of June?

Cory Doctorow (author of /Down and out in the Magic Kingdom/) will be
a keynote speaker, as will Jim Hugunin (who led the Jython project in
its early years and more recently led the team behind IronPython).

The deadline for submitting talks is April 5th:

Hi Kevin and Python Ireland,

Kevin, thanks for mentioning epicenter.

We're waiting on a number of people to send in abstracts, and since I'm on
holiday for the next two weeks, anyone who is interested in speaking has a
few extra weeks to send an abstract.

Epicenter is a week long software conference, expo and training event in
August. It will cover Open Source, Java, Microsoft, Web, Databases,
Architect all overlapping each other giving delegates the chance to dip in
and out of parallel streams. The open source parallels the web stream.

Hope to see members of Python Ireland participating.

Please let me know if anyone has any questions - either by email, or my
mobile 087 819 0249

Best
Barry
