First Python Meetup - Cork
6pm, Thursday 5th of August 2010

This will be introductory meeting to establish monthly Python Meetups in Cork.
As there is a growing demand on the job market for skilled Python programmers we would like to invite anyone interested in or already adept in Python to attend and discuss future directions.
We will also talk about the use of Python today.

This is also a great network opportunity.

Please mark the first Thursday of the month for your Python Meetup - Cork

A quick followup.

Twelve people attended the first Python Meetup in Cork this Thursday. 

We've discussed the direction the meetups should take as well as other topics of interest of those that attended. More detailed information will be available soon on http://yazzgoth.com/blog/

Thanks to everyone that attended, I'm very happy to see that there's a good number of people in Cork interested in Python and I'm sure following meetups will attract even more.
