It's wypy again this week!

Afraid I can't be there this month, but Tony is giving a talk on
numpy, details below and at wypy.org.uk

Talk: Image Processsing With Numpy

Anthony Simpson will be speaking on using Numpy to process images, including

Image matching
Filtering and preprocessing
Text extraction
Performance
Some ctypes and win32 api stuff (I love ctypes)
Date and Time

Thursday 9 August, talk from 7:30pm.

If you want to arrive before the talk, the venue will be open from
about 6.30. We will be finished by 9, and we will be going to the pub
afterwards.

I'll be working from OBH tomorrow, so will definitely be around for 6:30.

As for numpy: I hope we spend a large amount of time arguing about the
pronunciation. Maybe I've spent too long in Scotland, but it still rhymes
with numpty in my head...
