According to haffax on the Ogre forum the 1.4 release is coming soon
(A Release candidate has been made). I am currently talking to Walber
about including a patch that provides Linux support and allows
OgreNewt to be Python-Ogre compatible out of the box. I think we
should also talk to pjcast about appling our patch for OIS. That is
if it works with VC71 (Andy?). Way in the future we could remove the
number of CVS dependencies.

I need to go back and look at the ois patch as I recall it didn't work
with vc7 :( However I also don't remember why we didn't just exclude
the variable in question from the code generation...

Having ogrenewt updated would be good - as far as I know it's problem
isn't Python-Ogre, but the fact that noo one has ported it to Ogre
1.4/OIS etc.
At present the only way to get OgreNewt with Ogre 1.4 is with Python-Ogre :)

I had also asked that RTTI be turned on in release binaries, with
CEGUI being the problem on the last release - perhaps you could chase
this down as well?

Cheers
Andy
