I suspect it's not actually on your Python virtualpath. May I recommend you
do the following from the command-prompt:

$ python -c "import amazonproduct"

If you get an error that means it's not in the path.

Danny Greenfeld

--
'Knowledge is Power'
Daniel Greenfeld
Principal at Cartwheel Web; co-author of Two Scoops of Django

 Hi,
I'm having a similar problem. The difference is I installed LXML first and
am still getting the above issue: "No module named amazonproduct"
Its there, I double checked everything, but no idea. I know its on my
python virtual path, but no luck. Tried uninstalling and re-installing
everything again even.

First of all, this functionality is not part of the last official release.
As much as it saddens me to admin it, but version 0.2.5 was released over a
year ago. I didn't find the time to push out the changes yet.
However, all is not lost! Hello:
When I look in the "contrib" folder of the untar'd package, I don't see the
retry decorator that Sebastian talks about in the bitbucket.org "commits"
section, from around April or May of this year (2012).
Is retry part of the package that I installed from pypi? If so - is there
a simple example of using retry on an item_lookup() ?
