I'm really interested in participating in the sprints, but I won't be able to make it to the Bay area due to some work commitments.  Is it possible to join the sprint remotely? I've got a bit of time next week, and would love to help close some issues and do some testing/documentation where I can.

Just Curious,
Aman

I will personally be here sprinting Monday-Wednesday and leaving for
home on Thursday. If you want to get involved in hacking on pandas,
please by all means. We can find an IRC channel to chat on in time for
it if you'd like. The issue tracker is the place to look for things to
do (there are lots of accessible todo items)-- not sure what your
interests are there. Docs (/docs) can always use work-- examples,
cookbook, case studies, etc. I have some big picture items I want to
work on (like adding a "structured array backend" for DataFrame +
adding memory map support) from discussions with people the last week,
but those are likely to be "Wes goes into a cave for a week"-kind of
things ;)

Apparently #ipython on IRC maybe an option (on the freenode server).  Something like Gchat/Skype would be awesome, but certainly far too demanding ;).
