Data formats

Hi! I'm interested in knowing how people store the data they work with. Do  
you use Excel files? Matlab binary files? NetCDF, HDF? ASCII files?  
Databases? Comma-separated files? Stone tablets?

You can put as many answers as you want in the questions below, just  
separate them with a comma. Thanks!

Which software do you mainly use to analyse your data? Excel, Matlab,  
Fortran, Ferret, etc.

In what formats do you store your data? NetCDF, HDF, Excel spreadsheets,  
databases, ASCII files, etc.

How do you share your data with other colleagues/collaborators? Email, FTP,  
file server, Opendap, etc.
