1. Would people be interested?
2. What should the topics be?
3. What should the vibe be? Corporate big conference? Unconference?
4. Name: NoSQL North, or NoSQL NoCoast?
Cheers!
Gregg
Yes. Very much so.
> 2. What should the topics be?
The NoSQL "movement" is still rather new; I imagine much of your
target audience will be familiar with the bigger names, but actual
experience might be a bit thin. "I've read the blogs, help me explore
the next step."
> 3. What should the vibe be? Corporate big conference? Unconference?
I'd save the corporate vibe until conventional firms start to become
aware of NoSQL and willing to investigate it. Until then, I imagine
the shops that are open to NoSQL would be more comfortable in an
unconference setting.

NoSQL North rolls of my tongue a bit more easily and doesn't sound
like a parallel to "No X, No Y" sayings.

I'm thinking about organizing an meetup / unconference around NoSQL
(here: Not Only Sql), in late February / March. I'm curious as to
whether others would be interested, in how to publicize it in
different programming communities.

2. What should the topics be?
I like that parallel :) I also think NoSQL North is a bit
presumptuous :) But it does have better flow. I'm open to location
ideas.
