Did you setup a virutalenv for your project?  If so, did you configure apache for your virtualenv?  It may be that pserve and apache are using different python environments.

I have checked and applied all the methods that I could find online and none of them seem to be working. The application is getting served properly if I use the 'pserve' command and also 'import MySQLdb' workds fine while using python interpreter. It is only when I try to load the application using mod_wsgi is the internal server error ocurring.

I am very new to python and pyramid framework, so please help me out. Thank you.
