mako override default filters

Hi all,
If I want to set up default filters for mako, as in;

http://docs.makotemplates.org/en/latest/filtering.html#the-default-filters-argument

How would I do this with pyramid? Should I override
pyramid.mako_templating.MakoLookupRenderer?

You can override the filters at .ini.
