Pyjamas is an umbrella project for several projects in one, including primarily a Web Widget Set for browsers and desktop. The browser version uses a stand-alone python-to-javascript compiler; the Desktop version runs direct as standard
http://python.org , and requires either pywebkitgtk, or python-xpcom + hulahop, or python-comtypes (for the Win32 MSHTML version). The MSHTML version for Win32 is considered "stable".
