Yes, it is the only (feasible) way to access Cocoa APIs directly from within
Python. Luckily, apart from some quirks here and there, pyObjC is pretty
straightforward.

It isn't that hard, and there seem to be plenty of willing testers. I would
finish the job, but I don't have access to a Mac these days, and sadly don't
have the grand to shell out for a new one ;)
