I'm working a lot with Pyglet's text system this week and I'm very impressed with it so far. It seems very well designed and bountiful with features. The separation of views with the underlying document model seems great. Thanks to whoever wrote it. Richard I assume?

Yes, it is very good isn't it?

The credit for text, and most of the rest of pyglet (especially the
really good bits) goes to Alex Holkner who is exceptionally good at
making engines for creating great things with.

Well thanks! Actually all of that design is "inspired" (read: "plagiarised") from the java.text standard library :-)
