I wondered if anyone interested and/or involved with pyglet and python
game development in general was planning to go to pycon and would be
interested in sprinting, having a BOF, etc.

I haven't fully decided if I'm going to pycon this year or not, but
I'd definitely be much more tempted to go if there were others that
wanted to get together and geek-out on pyglet/opengl stuff.

Is anyone planning to give a general talk on pyglet this year?

Pycon (at least the U.S. pycon) was in March. Did you mean next year?

Guido wouldn't let me borrow his time-machine, so yes I mean next year ;^)

And so as not to be geographically ambiguous, I am referring to the US
pycon in Chi-town.

Im thinking about going, and we always do some kind of games sprints.
The best one was the nibbles contest phil hassey set up.

Maybe well do a cocos2d sprint like the one we did at europython.

Lucio.

I am planning on going, but nothing's concrete yet. I always attend the
sprints and encourage game writing / sprinting during that time :)

I gave one last PyCon. I doubt they'd let me do another next time ;)

I found your talk listed here:
http://us.pycon.org/2008/conference/talks/
But I didn't see any slides or paper download. Is there one? I would
love to see the presentation.

I'm afraid the only way you're going to see it is if they make the
video taping of it available.

It was really mostly a promotional thing anyway.

I'll be going to PyCon, and would absolutely love to participate in a
BoF and/or a sprint.

I'm going to propose giving a Pyglet talk I gave at PyCon UK a couple
of months ago, suitably updated and improved based on the stuff I've
done since, just in case someone deems it useful, but I don't have
much hope of it being selected, because it's unlikely to be as good as
Richard's aforementioned talk of last year.
