From Eric Eid-Reiner (Dave Reiner's son)
Hi all -
What better way to finish off the weekend than by hearing live,
acoustic music
among friends in a neat old used bookstore?! Matching Orange would
love for you
to join us at the Montague Bookmill today (Sunday, Sept. 13) at 8:00
p.m. Entry
is just $12 at the door. Montague is about half an hour from Amherst/
the 5-college area and half an hour from Brattleboro, VT.
Matching Orange plays New England, Irish, French-Canadian, Cape
Breton, and old-time music. The band creates swirling levels of
intensity, sometimes gritty, sometimes pure, and always engaging.
Matching Orange is:
Brendan Carey Block - fiddle
Eric McDonald - mandolin, guitar, vocals
Eric Eid-Reiner - piano
Consider arriving early for couches, armchairs, and of course, to
browse the books. There is also a great cafe in the building where you
can have dinner beforehand.
The Montague Bookmill is located at 440 Greenfield Road, Montague, MA.
Their web site is
www.MontagueBookmill.com. For more on Matching
Orange, check out
