This release fixes some performance bugs in the library (split and regex
operations), as discussed here previously. Also, there's a new 'mem'
command in the interpreter to print current memory usage, and the
'stats' command now has a new '-m' option which causes memory usage
information to be printed for each evaluation.

Notes for package maintainers: I would recommend building new pure-gen
and faust2pd packages for this release. The old (0.41) binaries should
still work, but pure-gen and faust2pd both make use of the regex
functions, and so should benefit from the new regex implementation in
this release.
