Below is an email I was forwarded from IGRASP at Purdue. It discusses
a proposed new immigration law in Indiana that is modeled off the new
immigration law in Arizona. People at Purdue are organizing a petition
to oppose this potential new law. If you're interested, see the

As you might be aware (if not, better get now!), Indiana is proposing
a new immigration law, similar to the one in Arizona. Here is the

I'm sure that you would agree that not only does this affect the
working environment at Purdue, being a highly diversified community,
but at the same time it also encroaches on our personal safety. As a
measure to raise awareness against this issue, we are requesting
everybody to sign the following petition, so that we can communicate
our voice to president Cordova.
Being one of the largest international grad community at Purdue, we
need to stand united against this.
