Delete directory contents if this is older then ..

Hello,

I would like to clean up some directories (linux) and remove some old contents which is older than e.g. 7 days.
One way is to setup cron job (of course using puppet ...) which clears these directories.
Is there any other puppet recommended way of doing that ?
