using Glassfish as a ruby application server for puppet

Has anyone made any progress toward using Glassfish as a ruby application server for puppet? I have seen some discussion on a few blogs but little in the way of detail and I am interested to see an alternative to mongrel.

I hadn't heard anything about this. I'll check out the posts I find
online, but I'm all for it.

It'd be annoying but not impossible to make this work in 0.24, but the
master branchhas a much more abstracted server architecture (written
by Rick Bradley) that makes this much easier.

Also, I'd love to hear stories of people running Puppet under JRuby.
Anyone tried this yet?
