Merged into stable and master as bdb5329. This should be released in Puppet 3.2. This patch simply fixes the last remaining failing acceptance test on Fedora 18. It should provide complete (green) acceptance test coverage for Ruby 1.9.3-p392.

Merged into master as 226c191. This should be released in stdlib 4.1.0. This change set restores the facter_dot_d.rb custom fact in an effort to restore functionality to users running with Facter versions earlier than 1.7. If Facter 1.7 is present, then the facter_dot_d.rb custom fact will not define any facts and will defer to the external facts support in Facter 1.7. External facts in Facter 1.7 provides the same functionality, loading facts from files in /etc/facter/facts.d, /etc/puppetlabs/facter/facts.d, and%COMMON_APPDATA%/PuppetLabs/facter/facts.d on Windows.

(PR puppetlabs-stdlib/154) Release version 4.1.0 [Ryan Coleman]
Merged into master as 1ffd72d. This should be released in stdlib 4.1.0. Ryan mentioned he plans to publish the release on the Forge soon, which will restore all of the previous functionality in stdlib 4 and will include external facts support when stdlib is operating with Facter < 1.7.
